Dr. Nicholas Bottaro trained in general ophthalmology at USF Morsani College of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

His practice brings together cataract and refractive surgery with comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. He offers a range of advanced lens options, including Light Adjustable Lens surgery with personalized postoperative adjustments.

His medical outreach has included work in Jamaica, Honduras, and Haiti, beginning in 2006. That experience is part of his longstanding interest in helping people access eye care.

Originally from Manchester, Connecticut, Dr. Bottaro made Florida his home in 2012. Outside medicine, his interests include boating, scuba diving, and fishing.
